Imagine for a moment that you are one half of a young couple who have just bought their first property - life is exciting and full of dreams. However, imagine also that this property just happens to be a dilapidated old terrace in Sydney. And that neither half of this couple knows a thing about property purchasing or renovating, let alone anything at all about old houses... Sounding like a recipe for trouble?
